About
The story of Chiticris began one idyllic summer in Benicasim, a place synonymous with leisurely summers for its founder. The journey started unassumingly when a restaurateur friend imparted the simple yet artful skill of adorning a glass plate with a napkin. This casual afternoon on the terrace transformed into the genesis of Chiticris, a brand celebrated for its handcrafted dishes.
From a tender age, the creator behind Chiticris was enchanted by the tactile joy of creating, painting, and drawing, often finding solace and immense satisfaction in these pursuits. This passion led to pursuing a degree in Design initially, only to later pivot to Teaching, marrying the love for creativity with a burgeoning passion for nurturing young minds.
Years of dedication as a kindergarten teacher followed, but the pivotal summer that saw the first Chiticris piece also marked a significant life change. A move to London with her husband opened unexpected doors, and amidst the whirlwind of new experiences, Chiticris was born, almost serendipitously.
The venture’s debut at a Christmas Market was met with trepidation, overshadowed by the fear of the unknown. However, the overwhelming success and reception it received laid the groundwork for what Chiticris is today. The journey from then on was nothing short of miraculous, marked by frantic preparations for markets and the unyielding support of family and friends. Their dedication extended beyond moral support, actively participating in markets and spreading the word about Chiticris with pride.
With its myriad opportunities for learning and exploration, London proved to be an invaluable gift to Chiticris. It offered courses in various art forms and time to explore and draw inspiration from the city’s enchanting nooks, further fueling the creative spirit behind Chiticris.

We deliver products using the best means possible. Shipping costs are influenced by the size and weight of the product and your location. Exact shipping costs are calculated in the shopping cart and will be added to the order total before checkout.
International orders are sent DAP (Delivered at Place). Local taxes, duties, and import fees may apply and are payable by the receiver.
Shipping Times
Orders from are dispatched within 1-2 business days from Melbourne, Australia . Estimated shipping times vary between 2-14 days based on location and chosen service (Standard or Express). Delivery delays, while rare, are beyond our control.
Click & Collect
We also offer customers the option to pick up the item from our store in Ashburton (VIC, 3147) - this option can be selected during the checkout phase. You will be asked to produce ID and/or a copy of the receipt when you come to collect the goods.
