Emma Bridgewater Lovebirds 1/2 Pint Mug
About Emma Bridgewater Pottery
All mugs come with colourful sponged patterns, witty words, beautiful illustrations or bespoke personalisation, so there’s something for everyone! These pottery mugs are the cornerstone of the range and feature the widest choice of designs. They’re great as presents (some come boxed for easy gifting). All are handmade and hand-decorated at the factory in Stoke-on-Trent.
At Emma Bridgewater, we like to make things that make everyday life a little bit nicer. We make things that are beautiful to look at and also a pleasure to use. Like a lovely mug that cheers you up when you have your first cup of tea in the morning or a bowl with a playful message that makes you smile when you use it. Emma and Matthew only design things that they love and want to use at home, giving our patterns a unique warmth that makes them instantly recognisable.
Traditional Earthenware
All our pottery is made from cream-coloured earthenware, a traditional Staffordshire product in our factory in Stoke-on-Trent, the home of British pottery. We still do most of the production work by hand. All the pieces are individually hand-decorated, so each one is very slightly different. And the person who paints our spongeware also signs it.
From the very beginning, Emma wanted to make pottery that could be used and enjoyed every day. We take a lot of care with the shapes of our pieces. Our mugs feel just right in your hands. Our bowls and plates are big enough for generous portions, but not that silly restaurant size that takes up all the room on your table. And of course, all of our tableware is perfectly happy being washed in the dishwasher.
Emma Bridgewater Lovebirds 1/2 Pint Mug is now available from Finch & Lane Melbourne. We ship Emma Bridgewater Australia wide.
