About
While convalescing from an injury resulting from an accident, Julie developed a passion for natural candles, botanical fragrance and general well-being, which ultimately led to the creation of Julie Clarke Candles.
Julie trained in candle making with master candle maker David Constable in Wales, where she developed the skills for making all kinds of candles, including vessel, pillar and taper candles. She also travelled to Switzerland to build her candle making knowledge further.
SUSTAINABLE GIFTS
Julie chose the porcelain and stoneware containers to enrich the customer’s candle experience as the containers can be re-used after the life of the candle and diffuser. Sustainable gifting is at the heart of what Julie Clarke Candles does.

Julie Clarke Candles is proud to be registered with the Vegan Society. The trademark Vegan sunflower design is used on labels worldwide as the authentic standard for products free from animal ingredients and animal testing. Look for this Vegan Society logo on the front of all Julie Clarke’s candles and diffuser boxes.
All of our Julie Clarke Candles and diffusers are approved under the Cruelty-Free International Leaping Bunny programme, the internationally recognised gold standard for cruelty-free products.
